

She was the former owner-operator of 107 Package Store for over 20 years.
Mrs. Painter was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter: Shannon Hensley and fiancé, Jed Bennett; a grandson: Bradley Jennings; step-granddaughter: Jamie Fellers; three great grandchildren: Alyssa Jennings, Damien Painter and Nicki Painter; nieces: Faye Izzard, Connie Gains, Melody Pattijohn, Donna Mathes, Teresa Mathes, Norlene Mathes; nephews: Johnny Mathes, Rickey Mathes; several great nieces and great nephews; great-great nieces and great-great nephews; and special friends: Jade Lane, Wanda Wilson, Montana Wilson and Kerri Bennett.
She was the daughter of the late Worley and Berta Mae Painter Mathes and was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Hensley; her second husband, Fred Painter; two brothers, Everette Mathes and Lewis Mathes; a sister, Thelma Mathes-Reeves; nephews, David Barnett, Todd Brewer; and a niece, Debbie Mathes.
The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 1 pm Thursday at Liberty Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Bennett officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be T. A. Wilson, Tom Whitaker, Matthew Richards, John Carder, Matthew Willaford, and Andy Blackburn.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bradley Jennings, Kelly Miller, Ricky Mathes, Kyle Shane Penley, and Montana Wilson.
Following the funeral service, a Celebration of Life will be held at the late home with all family and friends welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
