He retired from Parker Hannifin.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Amy and Michael Harris of Greeneville; three grandchildren: Molly, Erin, and Benjamin Harris; brother and sister-in-law: Crawford and Junive Holt of Greeneville; sister: Nan Voncannon of Sevierville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years: Velda Holt; his parents: Dink and Lizzie Holt; two brothers: Ruey Holt and an infant, Lloyd Holt; and five sisters: Dorothy "Dot" Waddell, Josephine Ricker, Selma Gray, Marie Waddell, and Launa "Sister" Solomon.
The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Claude Swatzell officiating.
Interment will be at 1:00 pm Monday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 pm Monday for the graveside service.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
