Louis Marie Tweed

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Tweed was a member of Bradburn Hill United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and was a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Steve and Janet Tweed of Madisonville, Tennessee and Allen and Shane Tweed of Afton; grandchildren: Rebekah Fox and husband, Patrick, Sarah Tweed, Christopher Tweed, Kelsey Tweed, and Cory Tweed; a brother and sister-in-law: Jack and Nepul Hope of Chuckey; two sisters-in-law: Mary Elizabeth “Tootsie” Hope, Nanny Kate Hope; special niece: Marsha Purgason; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Anna Hope and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Tweed; and brothers: Edward, Eldon, and Billy Joe Hope.

The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 2 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gail Jenkins officiating.

Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Dewey Hope, Michael Hope, Jimmy Hope, Steve Malory, and Brett Purgason.
