She was a housewife and mother.
Mrs. Morrison was a member of First Church of God.
She was a good, loving wife, mother, and grandmother; a good Christian woman who loved God and people.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years: Ricky Morrison; son: Ricky Morrison Jr. and wife, Tammey, and grandchildren: Ricky and Bailee; son: Tony Morrison and wife, Jennifer, and grandchildren, Chris and Kyle; mother: Ruth Hixson; four brothers and a sister-in-law: C. L. and Libby Hixson, Lynn Hixson, Clark Hixson, and Mike Hixson; a sister and brother-in-law: Priscilla and Ray Shelton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Celestine Hixson, and a brother, Allen Hixson.
The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roy Chism officiating.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
