

Mrs. Willett was a homemaker.
She was of the Baptist tradition of faith.
She loved to cook and bake.
Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law: Jimmy Willett, Kerry Willett, and Roger and Wanda Willett; two daughters and sons-in-law: Connie King Whitson and Eric Whitson and Robin and Marcus Key; four grandsons: Jimmy Willett Jr. and wife, Sonja, Jesse Willett, Marcus Key Jr., and Caleb Willett; seven granddaughters: Kim Cannon and husband Bryan, Kelly Brown and husband Jerry, Angel Phelps, Rebecca Willett, Melissa Walton and husband Shane, Martha Willett, Heather Willett, and Erica Gilliam; brother and sister: John Weems and Imogene Shelton; special friends: Don and Irene Farmer, Margaret Smith, J.W. Earley; and numerous great grandchildren.
She was married to the late James R. Willett for 60 years and was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie and Leisha Weems; daughter: Peggy Pounders; two grandsons: Christopher Willett and Ben Whitson; granddaughter: Brande King; daughter-in-law: Linda Willett; three brothers: Lace, Ben, and Bill Weems; and a sister: Francis Fortner.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Elliot Smith and staff, Caris Hospice Health Care, and Laughlin Memorial Hospital and staff.
The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Troy Cutshall, Rev. Ray Shelton, and Rev. Buster Shelton officiating.
Interment will follow in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Brown, Caleb Willett, Jordan Willett, Jacob Willett, Jesse Willett, and Michael Willett.
