Mary Frances Lane

She retired from Philips and Five Rivers.

She loved to cook and tend her garden. She especially loved to cook food for others.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Pam and Russell Fisher of Bristol, TN; grandson: Daniel Jennings of Greeneville; granddaughter and spouse: Nikki and Andrew Maurer of Emmaus, Pennsylvania; great grandsons: Chase Jennings of Greeneville, Ethan Maurer and Isaac Maurer of Emmaus, Pennsylvania; sister: Ina Ruth Freshour of Greeneville; nephew and spouse: Steve and Darlene Freshour of Greeneville; niece and spouse: Robin and James Stewart of Greeneville; great nephew and spouse: T.J. and Laura Freshour of Greeneville; great-great nephew: Brady Freshour of Greeneville; great-great niece: Ava Freshour of Greeneville; and her special friends: Shirley and Joe Hawk and Lloyd and Barbara Holt of Greeneville.

She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Ada Belle Holt and was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Cleatis Freshour; and a special friend: David Johnson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Harrell Cobb officiating. It is requested that family and friends meet at the cemetery Wednesday for the committal service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses or the giver’s choice.
