He was an auto parts salesman.
Mr. Arnold attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
His special achievement in life was in raising his family.
Survivors include his wife: Pearl Arnold; sons and daughter-in-law: Eugene Scott Arnold, Thomas Wayne Arnold, and Rodney Dale and Stephanie Arnold; daughter: Teresa Lynn Arnold; siblings: Bertha May Cody, Lee Oma Ivy, Anna May Bibbins, Rachel Sue, Ada Ruth, and Henry Roscoe; grandchildren: Marcia Dawn, Christopher Zane, Charity Leshea, Terry Lynn, Thomas Wayne Jr., Tisha Marie, Chauncey Alister, and Celi Anita; and eight great grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Oscar Tillford Arnold and Bessy Lee Smith and was preceded in death by children: Carolynn Lynn and Curtis Lee; and siblings: W.C. and James Tillford.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 11am Monday, October 27, 2014, at the Newport Church of God with Pastor Jeremy Arnall officiating.
