In addition to being a devoted homemaker, she held positions as a realtor and a legal secretary. She will be remembered for her keen sense of style and how she loved to dance.
She was the devoted wife of late Coast Guard veteran Donald Landes; a loving mother to her two daughters, Dawn and Lori Landes; and a cherished grandmother to her two grandsons Austin Landes and Chase Ware. As a military bride, she easily re-established homesteads in more than seven states and abroad in Cuba, where her daughter Lori was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rogelio and Christina Vidal, her siblings, James Vidal, Roger Vidal, and America Fernandez; her husband; Donald and her beloved baby girl, Donna.
Olympia's remains will be joined together with her loving husband, with plans for a final resting place alongside their baby girl, Donna at the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY. A private gathering to celebrate Olympia’s life will be held in Florida on a future date to be determined. Olympia will be fondly remembered and deeply missed, always.
