She worked for 35 years for the Village of Royal Palm Beach in Florida as an accountant.
She attended Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Lori and Michael Knapp of Greeneville; two grandchildren: Michael Knapp, Jr. and Tammy Knapp of Greeneville; mother: Freda Langston of Florida; two sisters: Diana Walker and Stephanie Langston of Florida; two brothers: Dwayne Langston and Michael Langston of Florida; two special nieces: Krystin Vidal and Alyse Walker of Florida; and her special in-laws: Jerry and Christina Burton of Greeneville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Langston.
Ms. Chapman’s request was to be cremated. There will be no formal service in Greeneville. A Memorial Service will be held in Florida at a later date.
