Read this morning (1-10-2023) about your passing. What a legacy you'll leave behind and I hope to never forget the class when you likened us to a log full of spiders when no one would pipe up to answer a question. You had a great way of relating to us and I think we'll all miss you. Godspeed, Mr. Conley. 

Ron made the almost 20 years we shared at Tusculum more meaningful, happier, and yes, more endurable. 

He was always ready to stop what he was doing and help any student or colleague with a smile and patience. Tredway Hall was not the same without him.

Mr Conley was the best. I was honored to be one of his students. I could sit and talk to him for hours. He was so understanding and willing to help his students. I was blessed to coach against his daughter Myra for many years and attended Tusculum with his son Lynn.
My heart is broken off this news but I know what a great and godly man he was. May you find comfort during these times. 

Darrell, I’m sorry to hear of your brother’s passing. It’s been a long time since our trip west with Dr. Beebe. God bless you and yours. 

My deepest condolences to Mr. Conley's family and friends. He was a wonderful person, great teacher, and Tusculum was a better place to have had him.  ❤️

Dr. Conley was one of the best professors at Tusculum. Not only did he work with me to ensure I understood Algebra, he also taught me a lot about farm life, as coming from a big city, I knew nothing about farming. He truly cared about each of his students, and will be missed.

Mr. Conley had a deep love for God and family.  I grew up knowing all of the Conleys. Mrs. Conley was my fourth grade teacher. Lynn, Albert, Myra, and I attended the same Christian school. Then, after college, I taught their youngest daughter Michaela. Mr. Conley was my math professor at Tusculum College. He had a fantastic sense of humor! I don't know how many times he cracked us up during math class!  He always had a story to tell. He had two "side-kicks" on campus...Dr. Davis and Mr. Barnett. They were quite the team! I know that he will be missed. You are in my prayers.

My deepest condolences to Myra and the Conley family.  Dr. Conley was by far my favorite teacher at Tusculum.  He would always joke with the soccer players about killing brain cells when heading soccer balls.  He taught my Physic classes and always related it to the farm.  He was the best!  


I am so sorry for your family's loss. Mr. Conley was my favorite professor at Tusculum. I loved his stories. He always keep class interesting, plus he knew my uncle, who hauled his milk for Pet. My favorite was the day that he tried to explain to the Japanese exchange students what a pole cat was.

Mrs. Conley, Lynn, Albert, Myra, & Michaela,  Shawn & I were sad to hear of Mr. Conley's passing.  I laugh when I remember all the things he would say when he taught Sunday School, like a tick on a hogs back, or any of the little sayings he would say.  

He was a very intelligent & wise man.  I remember years ago him saying he couldn't wait until he could buy groceries with a credit card so he could earn points.  Back then, I had no idea what he was talking about.  Now, nearly everyone buys groceries with a credit card.  He was ahead of his time in that area, but still held the old ways close too.

He will be greatly missed.  I will always remember that big smile & his singing.  We will continue praying for y'all.
