

He was a retired Professor at Tusculum College after 30 years and was an avid farmer. Captain Conley was a U. S. Marine Corps Pilot.
Ronald was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where he taught the Adult Sunday School Class and was the song leader.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eleanor Ferguson Conley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn (Michele) Conley and Albert (Kerri) Conley; two daughters and a son-in-law, Myra Conley and Michaela (David) Gandy; grandchildren, Tori, Tyler, Travis, Nathaniel, and Katerina Conley. Also surviving are two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry (Eddie) West and Donna (Eddie) Adams; one brother and sister-in-law, Darrel (Margie) Conley. Also brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Danny (Patricia) Ferguson, Libby Miller, Susie (Roger) Huskins and Barbara (Chris) Ferguson-Robinson as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was the son of the late Albert (Buster, Buck) and Ruth Myra Brown Conley of Andrews, North Carolina.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 – 4 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4 pm in the Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Danny Ellis and Rev. Bill Hall officiating.
A private interment service will be held in North Carolina.
Pallbearers are Bob Davis, Dan Barnett, and the men of Fellowship Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Fellowship Baptist Church Missionaries on 120 State Street, Greeneville, Tennessee 37743.
