

Ronnie was a carpenter and attended Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Cross Anchor.
Ronnie loved his wife, children, and grandchildren deeply, always putting their needs first and working for their future well-being. He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War. He greatly enjoyed working in his yard and was known for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Babb Cox; his children: Wilbur Ray (Angel) Cox, Elizabeth Cox, and Preston (Alyssa) Cox; grandchildren: Maddy Cox, Joey Cox, Abby Cox, Brandon Londeree, Caleb Morgan, and Kynlee Cox; great grandchild, Nova Fillers; his siblings: Star Cox and Vicki (Gerald) Carpenter; special family: Sandie and Dean Landers and their family; special friends: Bert Reaves, Jeff Reaves, Lynn Hartman, Cruz Gibson and Nathan Bullington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray H. and Lydia “Sharley” Cox; and his siblings: Bobby Cox, Linda Harrison, and Charles “Chuck” Cox.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Amedysis Hospice and the physicians, nurses and staff of the VA Medical Center.
There will be a Gathering of Friends at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
