Roy L. Brank

He retired from the U. T. Experiment Station.

Mr. Brank was a member of Susong Memorial Church.

Survivors include five children and spouses: Judy and Dennis Haire, Christine and Tom Pulliam, Linda Babb, Roger and Sue Brank, and Joe Brank; grandchildren: Tim Haire, Derick and Gail Haire, Crystal Lindsey, Rachel Pulliam, Amanda and Eric Waddell, Tabitha Babb, Jeremy Babb, Shana Hawkins; great grandchildren: Zachary Haire, Taylor Haire, Connor Hale, Owen Pulliam, Brandon Waddell, Emma Kate Waddell, Makayla O’Reily, and Aiden O’Reily; two sisters and brother-in-law: Mary Ruth Golden and Rena Fay and Lou Ferriger; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy Mae Brank; parents: Alonzo and Etta Smith Brank; three brothers: Horace, Ralph, and Ray Brank; and five sisters: Cora Fannon, Madeline Rader, Mamie Lee Lowe, Eula Mae Ricker, and Betty Lois Burchett.

The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clay Wilkerson, Rev. Dwayne Gray, and Chaplain John McPheron officiating.

Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ben Seaton, Donnie Bell, Cameron Cannon, Ronnie Arwood, Ronnie Metcalf Sr., Ronnie Metcalf Jr., Tim Haire, and Brandon Waddell.

Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Signature Health Care, the staff of Amedisys Hospice, doctors, nurses, and staff of Takoma Medical Group, members of Susong Memorial Church, and Dr. Overholt and staff.
