Thomas Eugene Malone

He was a disabled farmer.

Mr. Malone attended Pine Springs Baptist Church and Burnette’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 8 years: Patricia Laws Malone; a daughter: Candy Fillers; six grandchildren: Tiffany Gunter,

Gracie Hensley, Nicole Watts, Jasmine Watts, Courtney Watts, Sabrina Watts; three sisters: Jane Ogle, Ann Reynolds, Frances Myers; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary Helen and Timothy Ivan Smith, Deborah Franklin, Jimmy and Carolyn Laws, and Bob and Barbara Laws; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

He was the son of the late Brian Sr. and Cora Malone Ricker and was preceded in death by a brother: Brian Malone, Jr.; two sisters: Penny Laughlin and Peggy Wells; and a brother-in-law: Jeffrey Laws.

A graveside service will be held at 11am Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Fairview Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.

Rev. Tracy Jones will officiate.

Pallbearers will be his family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Bewley, Dr. Katherine Gray, Berry Tarlton, Timothy Smith, and Freddie Myers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at 10am Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
