Vivian Lucille Woods

She was retired from National Business Forms after 44 years.

Mrs. Woods was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.

Her family states, “She, above all, was a loving Christian wife and dedicated mother.”

Survivors include her loving husband: Carroll Woods; two sons and a daughters-in-law: Danny Wilhoit, Christopher and Kimberly Darnell; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Pamela Darnell, Debbie and Darryll Ricker, Tammie and Ronnie Ball; a stepson: Vance Woods; a special grandson “whom she raised”: Heith Rollins; grandchildren: Kiley Ottinger of Fort Mill,SC, Daniel Wilhoit, Brooke Wilhoit, Eric Ricker, Christy Franklin, Tosha Greenway of Franklin,TN, Parker Darnell, Reece Darnell

four sisters and brothers-in-law: Pat and Boyd Fox, Peggy and Jim Fox, Doris and Gene Shelton, Sue and PeeWee Tweed.

She was the daughter of the late Jerome and Florence Wilhoit and was preceded in death by three sisters, Jackie Cutshaw, Yeteva Wills, and Ruby Ricker; and one brother, Ray Wilhoit.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 25, 2010, in the Kiser Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Tommy Melton will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Hebron Cemetery .

Pallbearers will be Dillion Walsh, Dereck Walsh, Brad Jones, Jonathan Skidmore, Shawn Kirkpatrick, Mark Kirkpatrick,

Travis Wilhoit, Shane Tweed, Jeff Tweed.

Honorary pallbearers will be the congregation of Sunnyside Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. The family would like to extend a “special thanks” to Dr. Dharmen Patel and staff, the staff of Amedysis Home Health Services, Mitzi Jones, Middle Creek Church of God Church, Flag Branch Church of God, United Baptist Church, and the local churches.
