He was a retired carpenter.
He was the son of the late Rev. J. J. and Gladys Wilkerson. He was preceded in death by his wife: Billie Lynne Wilkerson.
He is survived by two daughters: Angela (Richard) Broyles and Rhonda Schofield; three sons: Scott (Telina) Wilkerson, James (Robin) Wampler and Lynn (Janice) Wampler; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one brother: Charles Wilkerson; and one sister: Carolyn Wilkerson
There will be no formal visitation.
There will be a graveside service at 10:00 am Friday at Carter’s Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
