Winston D. Holt

He retired from MECO and was a farmer.

Mr. Holt was a member of Love’s Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years: Joyce Holt; daughter: Lawanda “Dale” Strange of Newport; son: Albert McKown Holt of Greeneville; grandchildren: Laura Strange of Newport, Sarah Joy Pritchard and husband, Jamey, of Knoxville, Julia Strange of Greeneville; great grandchildren: Donovan Roach, Kira Duncan and Charlize Duncan; a brother: William Berlin Holt of Kingsport; and a sister: Alberta Love of Greeneville.

He was the son of the late William and Ora Kiker Holt and was preceded in death by a son, Donald Wayne Holt; daughter, Deborah Wooten; and an infant grandson, Joseph Roy Strange.

The family will receive friends 2-4 pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 4 pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sam Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Love’s Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be William G. Holt, J. J. Holt, Danny Ottinger, Howard “Buzz” Collins, Rusty Ottinger, and Glen Ward.
