

Angelo is survived by Rina, beloved wife of 76 years, children Karen (Randy), Loretta (Bill), and Frank. He was a proud grandfather to Jason, David (Michelle), Leanne (Chris), and Kelly (Kyle), and a treasured great-grandfather to Miller, Libby, Philip, Jack, Nathan, Tayia, and Emmy. He was predeceased by cherished daughter Angela (2010).
Angelo will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers Joe (predeceased by Jean) and Michael (Colena), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was by predeceased by siblings Frank, George, Nancy, Eddie, and Mary.
A respected businessman, Angelo spent more than 60 years in the automotive industry, including 40 years as the proud owner of Galt Chrysler Dodge. From his humble beginnings as a shoe shine boy, he built a remarkable career through determination, integrity, and hard work. He was admired not only for his business success but also for the genuine care he showed his employees, customers, and friends. A mentor to many, Angelo earned the respect and admiration of all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
Beyond his career, Angelo was a very social person who valued friendship and community. He was a longtime member of the Galt Golf and Country Club, where he proudly served as President for several years. He and Rina shared a love of travel and enjoyed opening their home to family and friends, creating countless happy memories together.
Above all, Angelo was devoted to his family. His kindness, generosity, humility, strong work ethic, and unwavering love will be remembered always. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and in the family he cherished.
Friends will be received on Sunday, July 5 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph. Vigil prayers will take place at 5:00 pm. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, July 6 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St. Guelph. Private cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington or St. Joseph’s Health Centre in memory of Angelo would be appreciated by the family.
