Barbara Ann Becker

She is reunited with her beloved husband of 60 years, Ted, who predeceased her in 2019. Loving mother to Anne and Peter, Barbara was a proud grandmother to Geordan (Kevin), Morgan (Keith), and Joshua, all of whom brought her immense joy.

Barbara was a skilled gardener who found happiness in nurturing both plants and animals. She treasured time spent with family and was known for her hilarious sense of humour, always ready with a laugh and a smile.

Barbara and Ted founded the Beacon Bible Camp, where she worked tirelessly in the kitchen. She was deeply involved with Arkell Bible Chapel, where she devoted countless hours caring for elderly members of the community. Her compassionate nature never faded. Even as a resident of a nursing home, and later in the Memory Care unit, Barbara continued to look for ways to help and support those around her.

She will be remembered for her generosity, warmth, resilience, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she met.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. Private burial will take place.
