Brayden had the ability to break down barriers through humour and make you feel loved. He was a loyal, compassionate and fearsome support for friends, family, his community and country.
Anyone who knew Brayden would instantly recall his big mischievous but beautiful smile. Brayden was steadfast in his beliefs and honest with those around him even if it hurt. Though it quickly became clear it was always motivated by how much he cared for you. Brayden was born in Kitchener and grew up in Guelph and Carlisle. In Guelph, he grew up playing soccer, hockey, football and was involved in Scouting for many years. In Carlisle, he played hockey, football and rugby (a family tradition). He served the Canadian Military for 13 years including serving in the War in Afghanistan. His lifelong dream was to be a firefighter and was able to realize this dream serving with the Cambridge Fire Service until his death.
He was a passionate friend and family member, explorer and mountain climber (Everest, Kilimanjaro, Ben Ledi etc), he pushed his body to the limits to find the entire beauty of this world. He was an amazing whittler, video game player, hunter and fisherman, loved hiking, snowshoeing and immersing himself in nature. Brayden was certain to live his life wholeheartedly.
