Clifford was so much more than a husband, father, and grandfather — he was the heart of his family, a man whose warmth, humor, and love touched everyone who knew him.
Clifford was a devoted husband and a proud, caring dad who always put his family first. As “Abuelo,” he filled his grandchild lives with laughter, stories, and love. He found true joy in the simple things — casting his fishing line at sunrise, taking the boat out with family by his side, or sharing a home-cooked meal made with care and a dash of his signature humor.
He loved visiting Colombia, where he felt deeply connected to family and culture. Those trips were among his happiest moments — full of laughter, good food, and love that crossed oceans. Clifford’s dedication extended beyond home; he took great pride in his work, giving his all with commitment and integrity for many years.
Clifford will forever be remembered as a man who lived with heart — steady, kind, and full of love. His warmth filled every room, his stories brought smiles, and his love for his family will remain a guiding light for all who knew him.
His legacy lives on in the countless memories he created — around the dinner table, by the water’s edge, and in the love he gave so freely. Clifford’s family and friends will miss him dearly, but take comfort knowing he left this world surrounded by love, with a life beautifully lived and deeply loved.
A visitation for Clifford will be held Friday, October 31, 2025 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St. Guelph). A funeral service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 11:00 am, reception to follow. The committal service will occur at Fairview Cemetery (Cobblehill Rd. Acton) following the reception.
