Dorothy, more affectionately known as Beryl, was born April 26, 1931 in Athelstan, Quebec to Lottie Peddie & William Jamieson. Raised on her family farm with her beloved brother Wesley (Eleanor) she has always had a special place in her heart for all things farm related. She is predeceased by her husbands Stanley Hamilton and Gerald Moore. She will be greatly missed by her two sons, John Hamilton (Jocelyne) and Clifford Hamilton (Susan). The proud grandmother to Roy Hamilton (Malorie), William Hamilton (Kim), Andy Hamilton (Megan), Henry Hamilton (Meghan) and Jeannine Brady (Dann); great-grandmother to Brooke, Wyatt, Creo, Ira, Shane, Olivia & Teagan. Beryl loved all things to do with the farm, enjoyed being part of Duff Presbyterian Church, was a talented quilter and knitter and loved her family deeply.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the amazing and caring staff at Morriston Park Nursing Home. Your love and dedication to the residents and their families means more that you will ever know.
A private family service will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Sons Funeral Home with interment to follow in her hometown in Quebec.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or Morriston Park Nursing Home would be greatly appreciated by the family.
