Nanay Linda was always a hard worker, who aspired to provide a better life for her family in Canada, earned her way into retirement, all while helping raise her grandchildren. She is remembered for many things including making her famous leche flan and pancit dishes, playing cards or mahjong with anybody willing to play, or planning her next trip to visit home in the Philippines. She always brought her joyful laughter and an incredibly positive outlook to everything in her life. Her smile and cherished laugh will be missed by the many friends and family that had the pleasure of knowing her. Special thank you to all of the hospital staff that supported Erlinda and her family, especially her nurses and PSW’s at St. Joseph’s Health Centre.
