Gregory Paul Dickieson

Beloved husband and best friend of Karen.

Proud and adoring father of Jordan and Joshua and loving father-in-law of Kristine and Victoria.

Greg was overjoyed to be Grandpa to Eleanora and Anna and DoDo to Marcus and Jack.

Predeceased by his father Ted Dickieson and in-laws Wilma and Henk Ensing and Henry Mulder.

Greg is survived by his mother, Ruth Dickieson, and his dearest sister Cathy (Patrick). Greg leaves behind his brothers-in-law Bruce Mulder (Laurie), Stan Mulder (Brianne) and Gary Mulder (Maria) and their debates about the mighty Habs versus the Leafs.

Greg enjoyed having fun with his nieces and nephews and made sure to catch up with them whenever he saw them.

Also missing Greg will be extended family and friends. All of you were valued so much.

Greg was part of a special group of men, the Mavericks, who were a huge and very important part of his life. They too will feel a great loss with Greg’s passing.

Helping through these last difficult weeks were our great neighbours in Rockwood and Karen’s Motion Plus Physiotherapy family as well as Rhonda at AWC. Also, Steve, thank you for taking Greg to his infusions. These weekly outings were a bright spot! The help and support has meant so much.

Special thanks to Dr. Ganapathy and the ICU nurses at Guelph General Hospital. In particular to Nurse Hannah who was so kind to Greg and our family. Thank you also to Pauline who was a friendly face and a great support.

The ICU nurses at London University Hospital took great care of Greg. A debt of gratitude is owed to Dr. Lewis, ICU doctor at London Hospital, for making arrangements so that Greg could return to Guelph. As well as paramedics Marcus and Curtis of Ornge Ambulance who brought Greg back to Guelph.

Greg was a man with a friendly smile and a big heart. There are no words to describe how much he will be missed.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on June 9, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral will take place at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel, on June 10, 2026, at 9:30 am.
