Jane’s life was deeply shaped by the people she loved. Her daughters, Michelle and Carolyn, were an incredibly important part of her life, and she carried their loss with her always. She also shared a deep and enduring love with her soulmate, Larry Morrow.
Jane was a loving mother-in-law to Berkeley Bernard, Michelle’s partner, and stepmother to Cory (Rene) Morrow and Kristen (Rodger) Eyre. She was Nana to Kensie and Nate Morrow, Owen, Georgia and Tyler Eyre whom she loved dearly.
Jane is predeceased by her sisters Shirley Spencer and Cathy Leaton and will be deeply missed by her sister Wendy Adams and her many nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends, especially her cherished friend Patti DuGuid whose friendship and presence meant so much to Jane.
Jane spent many years working at Homewood Community Addiction Services (CADS) where she was an addictions counsellor for over 30 years. Her years there were an important part of her life and brought many lasting friendships.
She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park with her beloved Larry Morrow and her girls, Michelle and Carolyn Bamford. After missing them for so long, there is comfort in knowing that Jane can now rest peacefully alongside them.
Jane’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Wellington for the unconditional care, compassion and support they provided to Jane and her family during her time there.
