John was the beloved son of Alan Clarke Prouse and Verna Louise Prouse of Georgetown (pre-deceased), and the brother of Judy, Tom and Louise (pre-deceased). As well as Janine (William Kent) and Sheila (Donald Loder).
John was uncle to Lynzie, Brittany, Kendall, Matthew, Shannon, Crystal and Linda.
A former member of Three Willows Church in Guelph and St. John's United in Georgetown, John will be missed by all.
The family wishes to express extreme gratitude to the staff of Heritage House for their steadfast care over the past 10 years, and to the residents for their companionship.
To all who knew him, we will remember him for his jovial spirit, his amazing smile and his ability to emit the most boisterous laugh you've ever heard.
He will be laid to rest with a private Memorial Service at the family gravesite in Little Britain, ON.
