Joseph Timpano

Joe sadly and unexpectedly passed away on June 1st, 2023. He will be greatly missed by his love and life partner, Nora Howes. Joe was the dearly loved son of Carmelo (2021) and Lina (2021). Joe is survived by his siblings, Vince (Bernadette) and Fran (Paul Hinchliffe) who loved him. Joe will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his stepdaughter Leah (Brian) and his eight nieces and nephews: Noah (Danielle), Samantha, James (Chelsie), Sara, Catherine, Victoria, Lauren, and Adam. Joe’s nieces and nephews meant the world to him, and he would do anything to make them laugh.

Joe was born in Montreal and later moved to Guelph in 1966. He grew up surrounded by extraordinary neighbours and friends. Joe always put family first and was happiest amongst immediate family, aunts, uncles, and cousins near and far. Joe prided himself on working hard and was always drawn toward physical labour. Joe will forever be remembered for his unique personality, laughter, generosity, kindness, and loud but gentle nature.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, where the family invites relatives and friends for visitation on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 5:00pm-8:00. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 13th at the Hart Chapel beginning at 10:30am. All are welcome to join for a reception immediately following the service in the Hart Fellowship Lounge until 1:00pm.
