It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Joyce Adams. Joyce passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of Leonard Adams (deceased). Dear mother of Alison Adams and Vanessa Orend (James). Grandma of Gordie (Stephanie), Brendan and Michael. Joyce (Mommy, Ma, Mama, Moms, Mom, Auntie Joyce) will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A special thank you to the staff at the Guelph General Hospital, PSW's and Support Staff from the Ontario Health at Home network, and family and friends, for their compassion and care.
Family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where visitation will take place on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 235 Williamsburg Rd., Kitchener, ON, on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., with visiting one hour prior to the service at 12:00 p.m. A livestream link for the funeral service is available on the funeral home website (https://funeraweb.tv/en/diffusions/97958).
