Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Borris (2021), Kathryn’s heart and soul were devoted to her family. Cherished mother of Jeffrey (Dallas), Matthew (Sarah), and Andrew (Miranda), she was a guiding light and source of unconditional love. Her grandchildren, Benjamin and Nicholas, were her pride and joy, and she relished every moment spent with them.
Kathryn was a treasured sister to Peter, Luke, Bob, Steve, Chris, and Martha. She was predeceased by her dear parents, Emma and Jim. Her absence will be profoundly felt by all her friends and extended family, who will forever remember her gentle spirit and generous heart.
Kathryn’s life was a symphony of love and kindness. She dedicated herself to raising her children with endless patience and care. A lover of music, she found joy in melodies that spoke to her soul. Her baking was legendary, filling her home with warmth and the sweet scent of freshly baked treats. Entertaining brought her immense pleasure, and Christmas, her favorite holiday, was always a magical time, celebrated with grandeur and love.
Her sweetness and kindness touched everyone she met. Generous to a fault, Kathryn always put others before herself. A cherished memory from her youth was the honor of presenting flowers to Queen Elizabeth during her visit to Guelph—a testament to the grace and poise that defined her.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Chris Stemerdink, Dr. Cassandra Graham, and all the staff at Hospice Wellington for their outstanding and compassionate care.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. Private cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made to Hospice Wellington would be deeply appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences can be made online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com
