Krystyna Szczesna

Loving mother to Ewa King (Mark King) and Kasia Szczesny. Cherished babcia to Joshua, Vanessa and Annaleigh. Dear sister of the late Wiesiek and the late Zbyszek of Poland. Predeceased by her loving parents Irena and Edward. Will be missed by all friends and extended family, as well as the members of the Polish Alliance of Canada Groups, which were a very important part of her life for many years.

She was known for her zest for life, tenacity and strength. Her loved ones will continue to honour her legacy by living their lives to the fullest as she would have wanted. Her loving heart left a beacon of light for all in the community.

Very special thank you to all the doctors and nurses for their exceptional care and compassion.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. Visitation will take place on Friday February 9, 2024 from 6:00-9:00pm, with vigil prayer taking place at 8:15pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St, Guelph, on Saturday February 10, 2024 at 10:30am. Burial at Marymount Cemetery. Reception to follow at Guelph Polish Alliance, 5 Empire St, Guelph.
