It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Jean Stea on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Guelph General Hospital. She was 82 years old. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Peter Stea (2024).
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Michael Stea; her sister, Anne Gordon; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Lina Stea. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, William and Esther Gordon.
Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with a funeral service to follow in the Hart Chapel at 2:00PM. Cremation will follow, with inurnment in the family’s plot at York Cemetery.
