Mark Edward Ingram passed away at Grand River Hospital with his family by his side on Sunday December 7th, at the age of 67. Mark was a loving husband to Marilyn (42 years), a devoted father to Laura (Patrick) and Megan (Andy), and a proud papa to Allison, Creo, Calvin, and Ira.
In addition to his immediate family, Mark is survived by his siblings, Beth (Mike), Ann (Brian), and Douglas (Anne), as well as many nieces, nephews, and good friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Helen, and his brother John.
Mark received a liver transplant in 2002 and over the years he faced many health issues which he did with strength, determination and resilience. He bounced back many times from insurmountable odds. He fought until the very end, never wanting to leave his family that he loved so much.
Mark was a kind, loving husband, father and grandfather. The grandkids brought so much joy to papa's life, his eyes lit up every time they were around. He enjoyed motorcycles, cars and trips to Sauble Beach, where the family enjoyed many summers at the trailer. Mark always had encouraging words, and you never doubted how proud he was of you. His sports jacket and shorts were his own fashion trend unique to his personality and in true Ingram style, no one could change his mind. Mark will stay in our hearts forever.
