Mary leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness. She was an amazing mother, cook, and homemaker who poured her heart into everything she did. Mary sewed her own clothes, grew her own food, and always had a meal ready for anyone who needed it. She cooked for the Legion, catered weddings, and was known for her delicious meals that brought people together.
A lover of games, Mary enjoyed darts, bowling, and euchre, and she never missed a chance to play Bingo. She often shared the cherished story of how she met her late husband, Peter, on the boat they traveled to Canada on – a love story that lasted until his passing in 2024.
The home she and Peter shared was the gathering place for their family. Every family event, especially Christmas Eve, was celebrated there, with Mary hosting well into her 80s. Family meant everything to her, and she adored her grandchildren, always making them feel special with her bubbly, cheerful, and outgoing personality.
Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. Her kindness, laughter, and dedication to family will always be remembered.
