

Mendora will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered as a devoted mother, sister, and friend. She was a proud and caring mother to Chandarella Mae, whose life she guided with strength, warmth, and unwavering love.
She leaves behind her cherished siblings: Elaine (Mary), Jersica (Phillip), Marson, Julie-an, and Frederick (Linda), along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will hold her memory close. Mendora was especially dear to her close friends Mimi, Agnes, Crystal, and Kris, who shared in her laughter, strength, and enduring positivity.
Mendora had a deep love for needlecrafts and found joy in the outdoors, especially hiking and embracing nature. She was known for her positive attitude and fighting spirit, facing life’s challenges with courage and grace. A natural leader and a nurturing soul, she touched the lives of many through her kindness and resilience.
She also found great joy in cooking and baking, and will be fondly remembered for her delicious lasagna and banana cake, which brought comfort and happiness to those she loved.
Above all, Mendora’s faith in God was the foundation of her life. Her legacy of love, strength, and faith will live on in all who knew her.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 3 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Saturday, April 4 from 11:30 to 1:30 pm at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph. A funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, April 4 at 1:30 pm, followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, 762 Woodlwich St. Guelph.
