Mike Embro

Loved and cherished husband of Rosanna (Reginato) for 37 years. Proud dad to Nick and Carly. Treasured Papa to Easton and Sophia, whom he adored. He was the proud son of the late Louis and Maria (Drenters) Embro and loving son-in-law to Adele and the late Nico Reginato. Loving brother of Louie and predeceased by his sister Fina. Brother-in-Law of Frank Pelligrini, Deborah Embro, Ed Reginato, Louisa and Dino Moretto and Dino and Kathleen Reginato. Fun and loving uncle to Frankie, Max, Kayla, Jordan, Kristian, Brendan, Adam, Jessica, Julia and Jaime. Mike had many many friends who loved him and will miss him dearly, especially his closest friends, Mike Carlo, Mike Campagnolo, John de Souza and Dave Carlo.

Mike was a drummer in several bands throughout the years, he loved all the musicians he played and jammed with, whether it was in the basement on Carden street, Mike Carlo's basement or touring with Razor. He was dedicated to his jobs, spending over 30 years at Owens Corning and recently at Barzotti Woodworking for the past 8 years. But the thing he did the most, was try to make everyone around him laugh and smile. He lived his life as he wanted to live it.

Mike was known around the world as a legendary heavy metal drummer which he was very proud of. When it came to his home, his family was his greatest love, and he was theirs.

Visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St. Guelph) on January 11, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and on January 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am.
