Paolo De Liberali

Paolo was the devoted and loving father of his cherished daughters, Katiana and Ariss, who were the centre of his world and his greatest pride.

He is lovingly remembered by his father, Luigi; his sister, Antonella; her husband, Rob Leshuk; and his nephew, Jackson. Paolo was predeceased by his beloved mother, Maria Gabriella (2020), and his brother, Fausto (2001).

Paolo was a hardworking entrepreneur in the granite and stone industry, building and operating Graniteworx and later Stone Innovation. He dedicated much of his life to his business through grit, determination, and relentless hard work. When he wasn't working, he was passionate about motorcycles, taekwondo, spirited conversation, and a good debate—especially if he believed he was right, which was often, even when he wasn't. His dedication and discipline in taekwondo led him to achieve the title of World Champion, an accomplishment he carried with great pride.

He lived life intensely. Paolo loved big and fought big, rarely believing in middle ground. He had a sharp and sometimes unconventional sense of humour that those closest to him came to know well. Beneath his strong opinions and larger-than-life personality was a man whose spirit and heart remained powerful through the many health challenges he faced over the years.

Paolo leaves behind memories that are complex, genuine, unforgettable, and deeply human. Though imperfect, he was deeply loved, and his presence will be profoundly missed by his daughters, family, and all who truly knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
