Ralph Marziano

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Ralph Marziano – a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed more deeply than words could ever express.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Jane, his sons Tony, Frank and Bruno; his loving daughter Melissa (Dave), his grandsons Nicholas, Jonathan and Luca, and his brother Larry (Raffaela). Ralph is predeceased by his parents Antonio and Caterina, and his siblings Vincenzo (Teresina), John (Anna), Bruno (Angelina), and Theresa (Domenic).

He loved his family above all else. He was kind and giving to everyone around him - to know him was to love him. He was the proud owner of Ramar Contractors and Jaral Holdings. He worked diligently for his clients. His clients became his friends. He was an active member of Rotary and in the Guelph-Trillium Club since its inception. He was a long-time member of Cutten Fields. He enjoyed his Thursday golf days with his friends and dinner after. His laughter will echo forever over the course.

Hon, you were my best friend and the best husband and father anyone could ever ask for. Rest now. We take some comfort in knowing you are no longer in pain and reunited with your loved ones. You will be with me every day of my life, watching over me and guiding me and I will love you forever.

Friends will be received on Thursday, September 17 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph. A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, September 18 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 409 Paisley Road, followed by entombment at Marymount Cemetery, 5400 Hwy 6 in Guelph.
