It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Reginald George Angst on September 12, 2026 peacefully at Hospice Wellington surrounded by family.
Loving husband to the late Ann Angst for 65 wonderful years.
Devoted Father to: Leslie (Ray) Beaudry, the late Barry (Debbie) Angst, Bill Angst, Greg (Penny) Angst, Pam Angst (Tom Souhrada), George (Beth) Angst and June (Rob) Jones
Proud grandfather to: 16 Grandchildren & 16 Great Grandchildren
Cherished brother to: the late Marion Campbell & the late Charlotte Mackie
Predeceased by his parents Eva & Reginald Angst
He will be missed by all his friends and extended family.
A beautiful journey of ninety-one years,
Built out of laughter, devotion, and tears.
He looked at the family tree he had grown,
So proud of the life and the love he had known.
For sixty-five years, he had walked with his bride,
Navigating the world with her close by his side.
And though they once wept for the first born son they lost,
They held to each other, whatever the cost.
Now the waiting is over, the reunion complete,
As he steps into heaven on comforted feet.
Back in the arms of his wife and their boy,
Resting at last in an infinite joy.
Here on earth, his six children look up through their tears,
Grateful and proud of his wonderful years.
They know in their hearts that his journey was blessed,
That he lived a full life and has earned his sweet rest.
And the deep, steady strength that he gave them to keep
Will hold them together, through sorrow so deep.
Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph,
where the family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, September 19 from 10 to 11 AM A Funeral Service will be held at the Hart Chapel at 11 AM. A reception to follow in the Hart fellowship lounge. Interment at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 762 Woolwich St. Guelph at 2:30 PM.
