Rocky was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose love for his family knew no bounds. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, unwavering love, his bonfires with his guitar, and the laughter he brought into the lives of those around him. His greatest pride was his family, and his legacy will continue to live on through each of them.
Rocky leaves behind his four loving children: Pauline Richardson (Derek), Ryan Richardson, April Richardson, Cyle Richardson (Lisa). He was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to 4 great-grandchildren, he also leaves behind his brother in law Curt McPherson, his dear friend Dee Richardson and beloved dog China, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters: Val, Brenda, Debbie, and Sherri, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, his coworkers and colleagues at Linamar and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by his love and generosity.
Rocky has now been reunited with those who went before him: his beloved wife, Lisa Richardson; his mother, Marjorie Richardson (Lockland); his father, Robert Richardson; and his beloved sister, Karen Richardson.
While our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace and reunited with those he loved so dearly. His memory will forever be carried in our hearts, in the stories we share, and in the love he gave so freely.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at St. Mary's General hospital in Kitchener, the staff at Bayshore Community whom came and helped him. Also, a huge thank you to the staff at Hospice Wellington in Guelph, whom made his last days memorable to all those around him.
Loved to the stars and back, always and forever.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
A celebration of Rocky’s life will be announced by the family at a later date.
