Passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Rosaire Yves (Ros) Lacroix in his 78th year, was the beloved husband of the late Joan Beitz (2012). He was the loving father of Chantal and her husband Brent Lush and Carole Andrews. Ros was the proud grandfather of Zachary (Sarah) and Taylor (Courtney) and great-grandfather of Clayton. He was the dear brother of Francoise and Jacques and predeceased by 17 brothers and sisters. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
He will also be lovingly missed by his friend, Karen Winkup
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel 1099 Gordon St., Guelph where the family will receive their friends on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 1-2 p.m. A Celebration of Life for Ros will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation with interment of ashes at Woodlawn Memorial Park at a later date.
A reception will be held in the funeral home fellowship lounge.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Guelph Humane Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
