Lynne McNena, age 62, died suddenly on November 13, 2025. Born in Stewart, British Columbia, Lynne spent most of her life in Guelph, Ontario, where she built a home filled with love, laughter, and good food.
Lynne loved her family fiercely. She was passionate about cooking and hosting, always happiest when her kitchen was full and everyone felt welcome. A devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan, she cheered them on faithfully — even if they never managed to win a Stanley Cup in her lifetime. She also adored her dachshunds, who brought her endless joy. Above all, she cherished her family, friends, and the neighbours who became like family over the years.
She is survived by her husband, Ken; dachshund, Stella; her daughters, Lindsay (Jesse) and Brittany; grandpups Ophelia and Jasper; her sisters, Joy (John) and Gail (Tyson); her parents, Andy (Ann) and Peggy (Ed); and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Details about a celebration of life and open house will be shared upon request.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SickKids Hospital in Toronto in Lynne’s honour.
