

Lesley was born in England but moved to Canada when she was a young child. After several years living near Toronto, the family moved to Rosemere, Quebec, a community north of Montreal.
Lesley completed her undergraduate degree at Bishop’s University and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Audiology from McGill. She worked as an Audiologist at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal until her husband accepted a job transfer in Halifax in 1985.
A short time later Lesley started working for Audiology Associates which later became Connect Hearing. Lesley loved helping her patients and was actively involved canvassing every year for the Diabetes Association and also for the Cancer Society. Lesley enjoyed traveling; from the pyramids of Egypt to the ancient ruins of Pompeii, she visited them.
Lesley is survived by her husband of 35 years, Rick; daughter, Jessica and son, Michael and his fiancée, Meaghan. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret (Peter) McLaren of Bracebridge, ON.
Visitation will take place on Monday, January 5, 2015, from 7-9 pm in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, (902-455-0531). Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 6 at 4 pm, at J.A. Snow Memorial Chapel. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association.
