

Eagles, Alice May – Timberlea, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary at the age of 88. Born in Wolfville, NS she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Agnes (Godfrey) Eagles.
She is survived by her loving brother Ron, Timberlea, niece Shelly, nephews Gerry (Nadine), George Robert, Toronto and first cousins Barbara (Erickson) Cleveland, Shirley, Montreal and Hugh, Dartmouth.
Alice was predeceased by her brother George.
Alice was employed with Department of National Defense at HMCS Dockyard and Stadacona for over 45 years. During her retirement years she enjoyed playing cards and board games with family and friends. She loved animals, especially her many feline friends, her favourite being Sam, who was the perfect cat and always brought her much joy and pleasure.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of J.A Snow Funeral Home, Halifax. As per Alice’s wishes, there will be no memorial service. The family would like to express their special thanks to Melissa, Sam, Erika, Jackie, Kevin, Megan, Alexis and Reza at Parkland Retirement Home for the loving support and care they provided to Alice. Also, A big thank you to Ola for all the support she provided to Alice and Ron during this difficult period.
