Andy passed away suddenly at his home in Halifax. He was predeceased by his parents Antonios Habib Ghosn and Kowcab Elias Ghosn. He is survived by his brothers Robin (Tania), Ronald (Aline), Youssef (Josephine), and Mark (JouJou) along with many nephews and nieces.
Andy was a bright light in the lives of all his family, friends, and caregivers. He taught all who knew him the meaning of unconditional love and patience. Andy was a kind, gentle and happy man, who often shared those virtues with an enthusiastic and infectious smile. Andy loved participating in family gatherings – he enjoyed his authentic Lebanese food always accompanied by a Coca-Cola.
Andy will be deeply missed by all who were a part of his life. Although he has passed on, Andy’s spirit and smile will echo in the hearts of all who knew him. The family is forever grateful to the amazing staff at Abbott Drive who were a second family to Andy. Special thanks to the Regional Residential Services Society for the role they played in caring for and supporting Andy. We would also like to thank the Prescott Group, where Andy had been employed for many years.
Visitation will take place on Friday, January 17 from 5 – 8 pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home at 339 Lacewood Drive in Halifax. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 1 pm at Our Lady of Lebanon Parish located at 111 Clayton Park Drive in Halifax. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regional Residential Services Society (rrss.ns.ca).
