Anestis Teperidis

30 September, 1961 – 27 May, 2026
IN THE CARE OF

JA Snow Funeral Home

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anestis (Tasos) Teperidis, who left us peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the age of 64. Born in Athens, Greece on September 30, 1961, Anestis spent the last 15 years living in Halifax. Though he built a beautiful life here, he missed his beloved homeland dearly. Anestis was a cherished friend, devoted father, and proud grandfather.

Tasos will be remembered for his generous spirit, sharp sense of humor, and the loyalty and love he gave so freely to those fortunate enough to know him.

He touched many lives through his kindness, friendship, and unwavering presence. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and anyone who ever had to sit through him passionately defending his favorite soccer team, AEK.

He leaves behind his beloved children, Haroula Teperidis (Bilal Hijazi) and Nikos Teperidis, and his grandchildren, Lina and Zakaria, who were the greatest joys of his life.

He is also survived by the mother of his children, Katerina Kapetanakis; his brother, Giannis Teperidis (Popi Gabala); and his niece and nephew, Marilina Teperidi (Alexandros) and Haris Teperidis (Sofia), along with extended family and many dear friends.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the memories, laughter, and love Tasos leaves behind. His legacy will live on in the stories shared, the lessons remembered, and the family he loved so dearly.

A celebration of Anestis’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd at 10:00 AM at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS

Following the service, the burial will take place at Fairview Lawn Cemetery, 3720 Windsor Street, Halifax, NS

Forever loved, forever remembered.
