

Flinn, Ann Katherine — Passed away July 8, 2010 after a long struggle with cancer. Born December 15, 1937, she was daughter of the late Michael and Ethel Sheridan (Ling) and lived all of her life in Halifax. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School and worked for Maritime Tel and Tel, where she met her husband of 44 years. She was devoted to her husband Errol, daughter Patricia Duvar (Alan), Brian (Tana Worcester) and John (Lyndsay McQuaid), as well as her grandchildren Kathryn, Emily and Christopher Duvar. She longed to meet a fourth grandchild expected this summer. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Bill Sheridan (Joyce), Joan Kelly (Granville), Jim Sheridan, and Mary Belair (Maurice), as well as many nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and other staff at Capital Health hematology, radiation, and palliative care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Sunday July 11 at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held Monday, July 12 at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, Halifax. The celebrant will be Father Paul Morris. Burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hope Cottage, Chalice Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or Capital Health Foundation.
