Annie May Koenig

Born in New Victoria, Cape Breton, on August 20th, 1917 to the late Jane Mahon and Michael Cameron.

Her three daughters will miss her very much, Judy (Norman) Burt, Australia; Susan (Gary) Anderson, Halifax; Jeannie (Alex) Domaszewicz, California. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mom had a long and wonderful life. She did a lot of sewing for her family; she worked in Sears Collection Department until she retired. In her later years, mom spent the winters in Florida and the summer in Halifax. Devoted always to her family and they to her. She was the last remaining member of her family.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Ernest Hanrahan, Halifax and second husband, Hank Koenig, Michigan, as well as many sisters and brothers.

Special thanks to the staff of 5C Hickory Shore, especially Roger, Karen, and Barbara for all the care given to our mother. There will be no burial or viewing at this time. Cremation is in the care of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax 902-455-0531. Burial at a later date.
