

Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Kenneth Philip Sullivan and Jessie Geraldine Sullivan (nee Conrad).
Through her career, Carol worked as secretary for the Registry of Motor Vehicles, Province of Nova Scotia; the Department of Development, Province of Nova Scotia; the Department of Social Services Family and Child Welfare and the Department of National Defence,
After retirement, Carol and her young son Kennie moved to Robert Murphy Drive to support her mother after the death of her father.
She was most proud of her son Kennie and granddaughters, Ava and Blake and would often tell stories of their accomplishments to the crew at Leppert Street common room. Her beloved budgie Sully was her constant companion.
Carol is survived by her son Kennie (Shannon) DeCoste; granddaughters Ava and Blake DeCoste; sister Patricia (Patrick) McManus; nieces Dr Cathy Kells, Valerie Young and Michelle Ploeg and nephew Justis Morginn.
Carol was predeceased by her brother, Keith Sullivan; mother Jessie Sullivan and father Kenneth Sullivan.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral Service will be held at St Agnes Church (Good Sheppard Parish) 6903 Mumford Road, Halifax on Saturday June 22 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Gate of Haven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association Halifax branch or Northwood Foundation.
The family would like to thank the staff at Northwood Manor for their kindness and compassion in her final years.
