Carol was known for her kindness and generosity. Her family was her absolute priority. You could often find Carol in her kitchen dancing and singing with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Carol had a very rewarding career in nursing. She started as a CNA, but later graduated from the Victoria General Hospital nursing program with a Registered Nursing Degree. Maternity nursing would become her passion. The majority of her career was spent as a labour and delivery nurse at the IWK Health Centre. She loved nursing and was always so proud of her profession. She continued to meet with the VG Nurses Alumni right up until her passing.
Carol spent the last year of her life at Melville Heights Retirement Home, where she enjoyed a busy and active social life. She formed very close friendships with several of the residents during her time there.
Carol will be missed immensely by her family and friends. Her family is able to find comfort knowing that she is now at peace with her husband, sister, and parents.
