SWINEHAMMER, Charlotte Helen (Collier) – of Shad Bay N.S., daughter of the late William and Selena Northcott (Burgeo, Newfoundland) passed away at home in Shad Bay on April 28, 2012. She was the youngest and last surviving member of her immediate family.
Charlotte was predeceased by her first husband, John H. Collier, her second husband Earl Swinehammer, her son Peter Collier and her grandson Lewis Slaunwhite.
She is survived by her children Christine Smith (Charlie), Dublin Shore; John Collier (Dianne), Petawawa, Ont.; Judy Brown (Harold), Shad Bay; Thelma Purcell (Jim), Clayton Park; Ken Collier (Joan), McGrath’s Cove; Pam Spindler, First South.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
No funeral or church services by request. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
