Claude worked as a member of the Halifax Regional Fire Department, enjoyed sailing at the Armdale Yacht Club in his younger years, and had a passion for antique cars.
Claude is survived by his children; Nancy (Greg Westlake) Flemming, Ralph (Sherry) Flemming, Martha (David) Bellefontaine, and Matthew (Ashley) Flemming. Grandchildren; Amelia, Mackenzie, Mason, Max, Emma, Molly, Parker, and Owen, and sisters; Jeananne Hennigan, Betty Scarfe, and Colleen Manning. He is predeceased by his wife Renee (Hopkins) Flemming, son Robb Flemming, and brother Bobby Flemming.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday May 9 at 1:00pm at the Stella Maris Parish (6 St Michaels Ave, Halifax).
